On Friday 7th August 2015, Magna Carta Translation teamed up with SAL (Society of Asian Lawyers) to host the SAL Summer Social at Dirty Martini’s in London.
More than 150 lawyers attended the event, marking it as another resounding success, with key figures in the legal profession from the UK Asian community coming together in a professionally informal setting to network and make new business relationships.
One of SAL’s main objectives is to support and assist Asians in their career aspirations, and the annual Summer Social has always been one of the linchpins of the society’s ongoing triumphs, giving members from the legal profession the opportunity to develop relationships with key players in the industry.
Kareesha Maitaram, one of the organisers of the event, said:
“This event is about making connections and building enduring, mutually beneficial business relationships in the legal profession.
“SAL operates as a catalyst to ensure you meet the right people to include in your network and expand your sphere of influence.”
SAL’s main overall objective and reason for existence is to enhance diversity and equality of opportunity within the judiciary and legal profession, and the SAL Summer Social gives its members the chance to meet, exchange ideas and views, and to socialise.
Stephanie Anglade, Production Director at Magna Carta Translation commented:
“We are very pleased and honoured to sponsor the SAL annual Summer Social Event in London. We are equally privileged to be a trusted translation provider services to the members.”
SAL is an open, democratically run organisation, and exists as the largest BAME lawyer’s society in the UK, representing nearly 3,000 practitioners and law students.
